Social Bowl – 7 October 2023
Well, the weather was lovely so the social was held outside. We had a great turnout and an enjoyable afternoon. Thora and Mark won the trophy. Many thanks to Brian, Pat, Kevin and Alan for hosting.

Trip To Prestatyn
On Sunday 1 October, 17 of us found our way to the North Wales Bowls Centre at Frith Beach, Prestatyn. We arrived in good time for coffee and toast before fixing ourselves up with bowls and shoes. ABOUT US
There is a beautiful bowling green outside the Sports & Social Club, just behind the Gladstone Village Hall in Burton.
The Club opened in 1989 and provides opportunities for both social and competitive bowling.
We currently have four teams:
Burton & Puddington (Chester League) – Mixed Team
Burton & Puddington Veterans (Ellesmere Port Bowling League) – Two Mixed Teams
Burton & Puddington Ladies (Ellesmere Port & District Ladies Bowling League)
The outdoor bowls season runs from April to September. In addition to League fixtures, there are weekend and weekday social bowls. The green is available to bowling club members at all other times.
During the winter months, Indoor Bowling is held in the Clubhouse.
