Social Bowl – 8 June 2024
A great afternoon’s bowling. Dave F and Kath came first with 37 points, followed by David P and Sandra with 30 points and in third place Mark and Leif with 28 points. Thanks to Laura for hosting.

Return Friendly vs Claremount
The weather was perfect and we had a lovely afternoon hosting Claremount this past Sunday. We played doubles with players from each team making up the pairs and halfway through the afternoon we broke for tea and coffee and cake. There wasn’t much cake left at the end of the afternoon but what there was…
ABOUT US
There is a beautiful bowling green outside the Sports & Social Club, just behind the Gladstone Village Hall in Burton.
The Club opened in 1989 and provides opportunities for both social and competitive bowling.
We currently have four teams:
Burton & Puddington (Chester League) – Mixed Team
Burton & Puddington Veterans (Ellesmere Port Bowling League) – Two Mixed Teams
Burton & Puddington Ladies (Ellesmere Port & District Ladies Bowling League)
The outdoor bowls season runs from April to September. In addition to League fixtures, there are weekend and weekday social bowls. The green is available to bowling club members at all other times.
During the winter months, Indoor Bowling is held in the Clubhouse.
