The rain stopped as we began the social and the sun shone for the rest of the afternoon. Brian & Kath were the winners (38 points) with Mark & Sue B second (32 points) and Len & Anne third (27 points). Thanks to Laura and Karen for hosting.

Congrats to Kath who was the runner-up in the Ladies League Sport4All Vets competition on 1 & 3 July. The Ellesmere Port League held the Pioneer Cup this past Saturday. Saturday 20 July after the Social Bowl – 4pm onwards. A lovely opportunity to relax and socialise. After the Social we will repair to the field (or the Clubhouse in case of inclement weather). A great turnout for the Social despite the somewhat dreary skies and the odd drop of rain. Sandra & Margaret were the winners with 30 points. Second place (with 29 points) was a tie between Lief & Bob M and Margie & Mike J. Thanks to Geoff for hosting.
