We had a great Club Game & Fish Supper last Monday. It was dry and not too cold for the match organised by captains Kath (Team Fingers) and Margie (Team Thumbs). Sixteen singles matches of 15 ends were played and the Fingers emerged victorious – 163 to 134. The fish & chips afterwards were delicious. … Read more
After all the rain we had this week, yesterday’s social was blessed with good weather. Thirty-five people turned out to bowl and we played two rounds of doubles. A lovely Saturday afternoon for our Social. Karen & Kevin won the trophy, Geoff & John came second and David G & Roy were third. Thanks to Pat and Maggie for hosting.
It was overcast and windy, but the rain held off for our Social this afternoon. Karen & Geoff were the winners. There was three-way tie for second place! Brenda & Howard, Bob C & Dee and Sue B & Bill/Laura! Thanks to Len for hosting.
It was a lovely afternoon – not too hot – and we had a great turnout. Pat K & John won the trophy with 33 points. Wendy & Len came second with 31 points. Lief & Chris L and Dee & Anne W tied for third with 28 points. Thanks to Sue for hosting.
