Up To A Maximum Of £1

We are coming to the end of our Indoor Bowling season. We have been bowling every Wednesday and every other Saturday. It has been great fun – afternoons full of friendship and laughter.

There have been shouts of joy and amazement as a well-placed wood takes the match.

There have been many, many groans as a wood hits the centre block. That’s another 20p in the pot, please. Thankfully, it’s up to a maximum of £1 per person per session! The money is used to buy tea, coffee and biscuits and, this year, new mats to replace the seriously old, rotting ones. So all our pain has been worth it. We can take comfort in that!

Alan and Dave have upgraded the Scoreboard and Anne has made fabulous new coasters for our tea breaks.

We’re getting ready to start bowling outdoors, but we will be back on the mat again in the Autumn!
