By now we had all hoped to be enjoying a few roll-ups before the new season began. We were looking forward to the Flyers and the first Round Robin – a chance to get together with friends and shake the dust off our woods. I know I was eager to begin my second season with the Ladies and to make my debut with the Burtonwoods. Alas …
I am fortunate to live in Burton and when walking the dog I often pass by the green. The dog likes to sniff all around the edge, but understands she has to social distance with the grass!
I took this picture on 3 April. The clouds were a little Gothic that day, but the green looks wonderful, as you can see. Thanks to Bill, David, Geoff and John for all their hard work.
And I spotted some artwork on the way to the Clubhouse. So say us all!
Take care, everyone!
Sue
