We had a great Club Game & Fish Supper last Monday. It was dry and not too cold for the match organised by captains Kath (Team Fingers) and Margie (Team Thumbs). Sixteen singles matches of 15 ends were played and the Fingers emerged victorious – 163 to 134. The fish & chips afterwards were delicious.

We do, however, need to appoint an official photographer because, again, we forgot to take any pictures!
On Wednesday, the weather was horrendous, with heavy rain and hail, and this continued into the next day. Thursday was to have been the Friendly with Oxton Argyle, but around 11am we took the view that the green was unsafe for play. Whilst it does drain well and the sun came out in the afternoon, it was still very soggy even at 4pm. Such a pity as we were looking forward to a lovely social afternoon with friends. We hope to rearrange for early next season.
