We had an excellent turnout for the Social yesterday, despite the unpromising weather, which steadily improved as the afternoon progressed. 28 players took part. At the end of Round 2, Geoff and newcomer Chris Seymour were ahead. However, after an eventful 3rd round David Garside and Alan Atkinson were tying for the trophy with Brian Rae and Wendy Bragg. The Chairman awarded the trophy to Brian and Wendy who were unbeaten and in fact had beaten David and Alan in the first round. Well done to all, a great afternoon, and many thanks to David, Barbara and Pat for hosting.
