Even though we are not playing, the green still requires regular maintenance and, of course, we want it to be ready once things get going again. Normally we employ a contractor to scarify the green. This process removes dead and dying material and lets in air to stimulate growth. This year, the contractor kindly lent us the machine. Many thanks to Bill, John, David and Laura who all recently spent a couple of days doing the work.
