The Ellesmere Port & District Ladies Bowling League Novice Cup competition was held at B&P on 18 June 2024.
It was a cold, but very enjoyable, afternoon. There was a festive atmosphere and great support for the competitors.
The standard of bowling was high and several of the games were very close. The final, in particular, was nail-biting!
The winner was Chris and the runner-up was Sandra, both from B&P.
The competition was spearheaded by B&P as a way to encourage and develop new bowlers, give them a taste of competition, and to allow them to compete on a level playing field. It was open to all members of the League who had had their BCGBA numbers for two years or less.
