We have received information from the Chester League about the Eldridge Cup and the Chester League Merit, both events coming soon.
The Eldridge Cup is a knockout competition for all Clubs in the League, played over the season. It has now reached its final.
The Chester League Merit is a one-day knockout competition for the highest-ranking bowlers from each Club. You will sometimes see it referred to as the ‘Champion of Champions’. Last year, Geoff competed for B&P. Not sure yet who it will be this year. Watch this space! You can see the draw here: https://chesterleague.co.uk/Merit%2023.pdf
B&P members will be going to both events to support the players and, as usual, there will be car-sharing. More about that nearer the time.
