What a great afternoon! Alan had set up Blackjack, Roulette and Escalado and people rotated between the tables over six sessions. If you weren’t playing one of those, there were other games available while you waited. Cribbage seemed to be the favourite and beginners were made very welcome. Shut The Box proved popular, too.
The object was to accumulate as much as possible at Blackjack, Roulette, Escalado and to supplement your winnings with points at Bagatelle. The winner was Lief, second was Ken and third was Pat H. First prize was a £15 M&S voucher, second was two decks of cards, and third a box of mints.
Many thanks to Alan who worked so hard to put the afternoon together, coordinated the volunteers, and ran the Roulette all afternoon. Thanks to Lindy, Liz, Pat and Kevin for running Blackjack and Escalado, to Brian who ran the bar, to those who donated raffle prizes, those who ran the raffle, and to all who helped set up and clear up after the event.
