Social Bowl – 29 July 2023
The weather was lovely and we had a great turnout. Alan and Sue took home the prize this week. Thanks to Brian for hosting.

2023 – BYOB (Bring Your Own BBQ)
Sunday 6 August at 4pm For all Club members, family and friends. We hope you will join us at 4pm even if you are not participating in the Social Bowl that afternoon. No RSVP required, just come along. Bring your own meat/veg. The Club will fire up the GVH BBQ but it will be up…
ABOUT US
There is a beautiful bowling green outside the Sports & Social Club, just behind the Gladstone Village Hall in Burton.
The Club opened in 1989 and provides opportunities for both social and competitive bowling.
We currently have four teams:
Burton & Puddington (Chester League) – Mixed Team
Burton & Puddington Veterans (Ellesmere Port Bowling League) – Two Mixed Teams
Burton & Puddington Ladies (Ellesmere Port & District Ladies Bowling League)
The outdoor bowls season runs from April to September. In addition to League fixtures, there are weekend and weekday social bowls. The green is available to bowling club members at all other times.
During the winter months, Indoor Bowling is held in the Clubhouse.
