Social Bowl – 3 May 2025
An exciting afternoon! After two rounds of thirteen ends, there was a draw for first place. Margie organised a playoff of three ends – Chris L & Alan B vs Kath & Roy. Chris & Alan won by one point. Brian & Anne J came third. Many thanks to Margie for hosting.

A Busy Friday!
Club members had a busy Friday inside and outside of the Clubhouse! Friday morning saw some more work on the disabled parking space. It is not yet finished but coming along nicely. There will eventually be diagonal lines either side. Thanks to Geoff and Ian S for doing all this – it is much appreciated.…
ABOUT US
There is a beautiful bowling green outside the Sports & Social Club, just behind the Gladstone Village Hall in Burton.
The Club opened in 1989 and provides opportunities for both social and competitive bowling.
We currently have four teams:
Burton & Puddington (Chester League) – Mixed Team
Burton & Puddington Veterans (Ellesmere Port Bowling League) – Two Mixed Teams
Burton & Puddington Ladies (Ellesmere Port & District Ladies Bowling League)
The outdoor bowls season runs from April to September. In addition to League fixtures, there are weekend and weekday social bowls. The green is available to bowling club members at all other times.
During the winter months, Indoor Bowling is held in the Clubhouse.
