2025 – Ladies Lunch
Our annual Ladies Lunch will be on Tuesday 18 March at 1pm in the Clubhouse. All lady Club members welcome. Please bring a plate to share (hot or cold, sweet or savoury). 2025 – Beetle Drive
Sunday 16 March at 2pm Join us for a fun afternoon playing this classic game. Cost: £3 (includes nibbles). The bar will be open. Raffle prizes gratefully accepted. Please RSVP to [email protected] by Wednesday 12 March so we know how many tables to set out and how much food to buy.
ABOUT US
There is a beautiful bowling green outside the Sports & Social Club, just behind the Gladstone Village Hall in Burton.
The Club opened in 1989 and provides opportunities for both social and competitive bowling.
We currently have four teams:
Burton & Puddington (Chester League) – Mixed Team
Burton & Puddington Veterans (Ellesmere Port Bowling League) – Two Mixed Teams
Burton & Puddington Ladies (Ellesmere Port & District Ladies Bowling League)
The outdoor bowls season runs from April to September. In addition to League fixtures, there are weekend and weekday social bowls. The green is available to bowling club members at all other times.
During the winter months, Indoor Bowling is held in the Clubhouse.
