  • Social Bowl – 12 April 2025

    Thanks to Brian (with assistance from Alan B) for hosting the Social yesterday,. The winners with 32 points were Sue B & Phil. Second with on 24 Dee & John H. Joint third with 21 points Ian S & Anne J and Steven P & Pat/Alan B.

  • Social Bowl – 5 April 2025

    The weather was fabulous and the competition was fierce. Laura and John G won this week with 37 points. Thanks to Geoff B for hosting with help from John H.

ABOUT US

There is a beautiful bowling green outside the Sports & Social Club, just behind the Gladstone Village Hall in Burton.

The Club opened in 1989 and provides opportunities for both social and competitive bowling.

We currently have four teams:

Burton & Puddington (Chester League) – Mixed Team
Burton & Puddington Veterans (Ellesmere Port Bowling League) – Two Mixed Teams
Burton & Puddington Ladies (Ellesmere Port & District Ladies Bowling League)

The outdoor bowls season runs from April to September. In addition to League fixtures, there are weekend and weekday social bowls. The green is available to bowling club members at all other times.

During the winter months, Indoor Bowling is held in the Clubhouse.
