On Sunday 1 October, 17 of us found our way to the North Wales Bowls Centre at Frith Beach, Prestatyn.
We arrived in good time for coffee and toast before fixing ourselves up with bowls and shoes. Bowling started at 10am. Apart from a break for refreshments half-way, we bowled right through to 1pm, at which time our Sunday lunch was served.
The overall winner was Brian Rae with a magnificent score, but we were all winners really, having had a very enjoyable time. Several players expressed the wish to do it again, which we will probably do some time next year.
