Join us for a fun and exciting afternoon’s racing. We’re raising funds for a new mower and the repairs around the green.
Tickets £2 which includes tea and coffee and tasty nibbles. The bar will be open.

How it works
- There are several races in the afternoon.
- There are 8 horses in each race. Place your bets (£1 a go) on as many horses as you like. Note: There are no odds as this would require a gaming license.
- At the end of each race, the winning horse is declared and if you backed it, you get a payout. The payout is roughly 50% of the total betting money taken on the race, shared between all those who bet on the winning horse. We will round winnings up or down to the nearest pound to avoid odd pennies.
Helpers needed
- 2 – 3 people to take the bets.
- 2 people to oversee refreshments.
